Lacrosse - Leagues & Tournaments
Spring 2007

 Cost:  $125     Grades:  3 through 6

Girls games will be scheduled between 9:00AM and 1:00PM

Boys games will be schedule between 1:00PM and 5:00PM

Parents are encouraged to volunteer to coach a team.  If a parent volunteer is not available MD Sports will assign a coach to that team.  Individual and team registrations will be accepted.  The minimum number of players per team is 8 and the maximum is 14.  For more information, please go to www.mdsports.org

MD Sports Association’s primary focus is the development of young athletes.  We are a teaching organization.  Having fun, learning and developing new skills, understanding teamwork and sportsmanship are of utmost importance to us. 

During league play games may be stopped in order to explain officials’ calls and to demonstrate a skill or a correct technique.  Coaches, parents, and players, must remain positive and encouraging at all times.  This league is for players of all skill levels.  Equal playing time will be encouraged.  We will make every effort to place players on teams of their choice.  

Initial Meeting for Girls will be on Saturday April 14, 2007 at Herbert Hoover Middle School field from 1:00PM to 2:30PM for team assignments and a training session with MD Sports coaching staff.   

Initial Meeting for Boys will be on Saturday April 14, 2007 at Herbert Hoover Middle School field from 2:30 to 4:00PM for team assignments and a training session with MD Sports coaching staff.  All participants will receive a reversible jersey and a participation award.
