Mission
Our mission is to team with parents and educators and use sports
as a vehicle for success in life.
Profile
MD Sports Association, a non profit a 501 (c) (3) organization,
was founded in 2001 on the principles of respect, commitment, and
teamwork. Every member of our team is dedicated to helping young
athletes achieve a positive sports experience. We believe
that children have the right to receive quality instruction by
experienced, knowledgeable and caring staff whose primary goal is
to teach both sports and life skills.
Our objective is to teach young
athletes to work as part of a team, deal with adversity,
communicate effectively, set and achieve goals and manage time and
responsibilities.
Our vision is to inspire, teach,
encourage and motivate young athletes to maximize their potential
in sports, school, and life.
Our only limitations are those we
place upon ourselves. Everyone can learn and achieve,
perhaps not at the same rate or in the same manner…
In order to succeed—learn the
fundamentals, have faith, and don’t give up.
MD Sports Association offers a
variety of sports programs that will enhance your child’s
skills, eye-hand coordination, agility, and athletic performance.
The MD Sports Association staff will emphasize teamwork, positive
attitude, fairness, and respect. Our staff is committed to
teaching these principles while conducting unique, enjoyable
drills that will raise your child’s skill level, confidence and
self-esteem. MD Sports Association programs emphasize
fundamental skill development, using the correct techniques,
understanding the mental aspects of the game (sports), and
maintaining a positive attitude.
