 MD Sports Association's program director, Jasmina “Jazz” Perazic, is a 2009 WBCA National High School coach of the year, 2009 Prince George’s County Coach of the Year, 2009 Gazette Newspaper Coach of the Year, former Olympic player, WNBA player, college All American, ACC Legend, and a Hall of Fame athlete from the University of Maryland.  MD Sports Association provides young basketball enthusiasts with the highest level of instruction available today.  Our coaching staff will emphasize team concepts, leadership skills, correct fundamentals and the importance of positive attitude.  Fun games and scrimmages will be a part of each clinic.  Participants will be divided into groups according to their age and skill level.  Every participant will receive a T-shirt.

BASKETBALL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CLINICS

All Star Skills for ages 8 to 17

The best and most fun program anywhere.

No one can match Jazz’s knowledge, experience and passion for basketball.  Jasmina “Jazz” Perazic: 2009 WBCA National High School Coach of the Year, 2009 PG County Coach of the Year, 2009 Gazette Coach of the Year, Member of the University of Maryland  Hall of Fame, Two-time Olympian, WNBA Player, All American, ACC Legend, Retired jersey #4 hangs in the rafters of the Comcast Center.  

The focus of our program will be on ball handling, offensive moves, shooting, a systematic approach to shooting, shot selection and creating space on offense.  MD Sports staff will introduce drills that can improve (with repetition) first step quickness, explosiveness, ability to change direction and jumping ability. Each class will be tailored to meet the specific needs of its participants.  Every session will include one hour of skill work through  demonstration and practice; and one hour of scrimmage.  Each participant will receive a complimentary T-shirt.
